ABOUT

Hello and Welcome to Hanako's Kitchen. I have a passion for food and aspire to be a chef.

I Love Food. To put it simply!

I like to cook healthy and delicious food, as this is what I love to eat. I find the way different types of food effect our body so interesting!  I eat more than I should because I want to experience every possible flavour and texture that an ingredient or a combination of ingredients can offer.

I believe in the ethos of seasonal, organic and local produce.
Sustainable produce that has been grown naturally and close to your door step is truly hard to beat! I'm also passionate about campaigns such as the 'Fish Fight''Slow Food', 'Eating Better' and trying to prevent food wastage in the world.
Spider Crab that I dove for at our local beach!

As an aspiring chef I like to try out new dishes and flavours, and I hope to share my successes and failures (constructive of course!) on this blog.
I hope to be able to have the opportunity to build upon my passions and learn to cook professionally as I would love to have the skills and information to excel in the world of hospitality and to know if  I'm actually doing it right!
I hope to share my passion with you and to note my adventure into the world of cooking, as I discover it.

More than anything I love how food unites every individual in the world, no matter what culture or country they're from. It's the communal love, laughter and memories which food creates that fuels my passion and continually inspires me.

Feel free to leave comments, promote your blog and to share your passion with food, it would be great to hear from you!
